    Hi there,
    I’m newbie on this world. I installed ova, run commands on the tutorials. When I run the last ryu sh. I got these. I could not understand what is this.
    How I can start mininet switches,

    Sorry about my delayed reply. I suspect you already have Ryu running. With the starter-kit VM, Ryu is automatically started on reboot. So, if you want to run Ryu yourself, you need to kill the earlier one.

    You can start mininet using the command:
    $ sudo mn –arp –topo linear,2 –switch ovsk,protocols=OpenFlow13 –controller remote

    Hi, I’am new in this world of SDN too. I’m trying to connect a real openflow switch to the starter kit VM but I could’t. So I would like to know on which port is the controller listen for openflow network devices connections??

    Hi Orlando, it should be listening at port 6633 on the VM. Are you able to access that?
